The Australian brand Globe produces skate shoes and Sneakers, skateboards as well as Skate Hardgoods, accessories and streetwear clothing .
The brand Globe became 1985 by the Australian brothers and former skate pros Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill. The brothers mixed the skate industry with videos, contests, advertising magazines and even books so that Skateboarding in Australia and New Zealand boomed like never before. In 1995 Globe then entered the American market with a headquarters in Los Angeles and is now one of the most important boardsport and skate brands . In 2001, the skate brand went public on the Australian stock exchange, but CEO Matt Hill is still there. What started at Globe with skate decks and trucks and smaller distribution activities in Australia later became the takeover of Dwindle Distribution and the establishment of one of the largest skateboard productions in the world. In the range of Globe you will find an extensive urban, skate-oriented streetwear collection with casual T-shirts, pants and cool headwear. The Globe Decks consist of 7 layers of maple wood from Canada. They are pressed together with an epoxy resin mixture, which makes them lighter and more durable than the decks that consist of a water base. Globe therefore offers longer pop and significantly more driving pleasure .
